Alexei Valerievich Sazanov — Chairman of the Board of Directors, State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation.

Alexei Valerievich Sazanov was born in 1983.

He completed higher education, becoming a certified Financial Analyst (CFA charter). He also holds an Executive MBA from Oxford Said.

Between 2004 and 2005, Aleksei Valerievich worked first as an economist, and then a senior economist at the commercial bank 'Sudostroitelny Bank' (translates to Shipbuilding Bank). He worked as a specialist for 'Ernst and Young' between 2005 and 2006. He was a financial analyst for 'Multinational Logistics Partnership' Ltd. between 2006 and 2010.

From 2010 until 2012, he served as the Deputy Director at the Department of Oil and Gas Development, under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation. Between 2012 and 2015, he served as Deputy Director at the Department of Tax and Customs Tariff Policy, under the auspices of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation. He was an assistant to the Presidential Administration of Russia between 2015 and 2016.

He became Director of the Department of Tax and Customs Tariff Policy, under the auspices of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation in 2016.

Following governmental decree №61 (22 January 2020), he was named as a State Secretary - the Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation.
