Four of JSC 'Rosspirtprom's' factories received awards at the 2020 Moscow International Spirit Competition

At the 2020 Moscow International Spirit Competition, the jury once again awarded high marks to products produced by JSC 'Rosspirtprom'.

Gold medals were awarded to 'Premium' Ltd. in the 'Luxe' category, and to 'Zernoprodukt' Ltd. in the 'Alpha' category. Silver medals were awarded to 'Premium' Ltd. in the 'Alpha' category, and to 'Prestige' Ltd. in the 'Luxe' category.

'Etalon' Ltd. was awarded the grand prize, earning the highest number of points in the 'Luxury Alcohol' category. Only manufacturing plants whose alcohols have received gold medals for three years in a row can be considered for this award.

The competition usually takes place at ВНИИПБТ (the Russian Scientific Research Institute of Food Biotechnology), which is a subsidiary of ФГБУН (the Institute of Nutrition). under the watchful eye of independent supervisors and the media. Representatives of the jury, made up of leading experts from alcohol companies, blindly evaluated the samples of alcohol using a ten-point scoring system, considering aspects such as colour, transparency, aroma and taste.

The Moscow International Spirit Competition (MISC) is the largest professional competition for spirits in Europe and Asia. The event has been running since 2009. Awards are confered in five different categories, relating to the grades of food-grade alcohol: 'Luxe', 'Extra', 'Alpha', 'Best Quality' and 'International Spirits'.
